2011 Week 11 Fantasy Start ‘Em/Sit ‘Em

palmer will help you to the promise land (

If you have lost faith in my ability to pick a solid lineup, all you have to do is reverse the start’em sit’em of last week, and you would realize I am not crazy.  Of course it would be crazy to sit the people I say to start and vice versa, but in this case it would have been a wise choice.  I am going to use my one mulligan I have allowed myself (just now) and use it on last week.  Take caution on this week, as apparently I am not always correct.  If this week’s picks are not accurate, I will have a celebrity guest columnist help me next week.  Hopefully, it will not come to that.  Remember anyone can recommend to start Aaron Rodgers, or sit Ramses Barden, but this column gives you advice on people you would not ordinarily start or sit.  And here is your moment of zen:

Start ‘Em

QB:  Carson Palmer (he is available on your waiver wire. pick him up against the Vikings this week…please)

RB:  Kendall Hunter (remember the time last week when the Giants were able to stop him? Me neither)

WR:  Laurent Robinson

TE:  Fred Davis (huge bounce back this week)

DEF:  Dallas Cowboys

Sit ‘Em

QB:  Tim Tebow (has a QB ever had zero passing yards in a game? might happen this week)

RB:  Michael Bush

WR:  Dez Bryant (I am sitting him in my league, too)

TE:  Jermaine Gresham

DEF:  Philadelphia Eagles

Feel free to compare and contrast.

Stats:Age: 34 Sex: Male Favorite sports: Baseball, Football, Basketball Favorite Players: Jose Reyes, Eli Manning, Amare' Other hobbies: Poker, Fantasy Sports Title: Contributor Contact: I am a New York native who grew up watching the Mets, Giants and Knicks. I was too young to fully appreciate the championships the Mets won in 1986 and the Giants won in 1990, but was fully appreciative of the Giants 2007 Super Bowl win. I count 2-3-08 as one of the best days of my life. I moved to Boston with a few coworkers of mine that I hardly knew and took a big chance of moving to a city I barely knew anything about. I got along well with my roommates and my new city and decided to make it my permanent home, despite having difficulties following my favorite teams, due to living so far away from New York. I am extremely passionate about sports and will discuss the Giants Super Bowl win over the Patriots anytime, anyplace and with anybody. I am a social worker in the day and sports writer by night. I enjoy slaving over my laptop writing about sports. My ultimate dream would be to become a professional Texas Hold'em player.
